ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Zaire Franklin was born and raised in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia, PA. Zaire was raised by his grandmother, Juanita, and his mother Shelice, whom he named the foundation after. As a child, Zaire’s parents always preached to him the importance of seeing the bigger picture, about seeing further than the environment that was in front of him. It is those teachings that served as the inspiration for Shelice’s Angels.
Zaire graduated from La Salle College High School in Wydmoor, PA. He went on to attend Syracuse University where he graduated with a degree in Finance. While at Syracuse, Zaire was named the second three-time captain in school history and the first sophomore captain since 1941. He went on to be drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 7th round of the 2018 NFL draft.
